Details About the Position

How It Works:

You work with our content team and we’ll assign projects each week. This is a long-term, pay-per-project role for someone who wants consistent work with a single brand. We provide the direction, clips, and you focus on the creative.

Our goal is to give you everything you need to do your best work without the friction. Just high-leverage editing inside a brand that actually values your craft.

Responsibilities:

You’ll be editing premium short-form content (approx. 30–60 seconds) or log-form YouTube content (approx. 15-30 mins) for one of the fastest-growing brands in the entrepreneurial space. These include reels, video ads, and YouTube content built to inspire, educate, and convert.

We’ll give you a project file and brief—your job is to turn it into something clean, compelling, and on-brand. If you love storytelling, understand retention, and care about aesthetic as much as impact, you’ll thrive here.

  • Edit short-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and video ads for campaigns.

  • Produce long-form YouTube videos that are engaging and aligned with our brand.

  • Create motion graphics, animations, captions, and use retention editing techniques to keep viewers engaged.

  • Collaborate closely with the founder and content to ensure content aligns with company goals and vision.

  • Stay on top of trends in social media and YouTube editing styles to keep our content fresh and exciting.

  • Turning around edits quickly (1–3 day turnarounds depending on scope)

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics.

  • Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (you’ll need to have your own software).

  • Experience with motion graphics and animations using After Effects or similar tools.

  • Strong understanding of editing styles for social media and YouTube, with a focus on storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

  • Advance to a Senior Editor or Creative Director role as the company grows.

Requirements:

  • May work independently in your timezone but maintain regular communication with the team during US (MST) hours.

  • Must have prior experience with video editing and have a access to own software and equipment.

  • Must know how to edit for social media and have basic understanding of content strategies and trends.

  • Must be willing to work weekends IF you fall behind projects.

  • Must be fluent in English and have good English writing skills.

  • Interview: Once your skills test is complete, we’ll schedule an interview to dive deeper into your experience, workflow, and vision for the role. This is where we’ll discuss your creative process and how you can contribute to our team.

  • Training Period: If selected, you’ll enter a training period where we’ll work closely with you to ramp up your skills, introduce you to our brand guidelines, and ensure you’re set up for long-term success in your new role.
